For all those who likes things a little bit different, I welcome you to come play against or just kibitz the dejeuner forcing pass system in action. Foobar and I (DrTodd) will be playing it on weekdays during our lunch hour from 12-1 PST (GMT -8). We're always on the lookout for opponents who will actually stick around for the entire hour since we like to maximize the number of hands. Contact me if you and your partner would like to challenge us.

Hope to see you there.

Todd

Great idea: I'll be watching this ;)
Could you post a short description in this thread for opponents and kibitzers so people will understand what's going on?

Flame that's Tresboof, not Dejeuner...

Dejeuner is a little similar, but different:

Pass = 14+, 4+ controls
1 = 9-13, 4+, >=, 2+ controls
1 = 9-13, 4+, <, 2+ controls
1 = 0-8, artificial, any shape which can't preempt
1 = 9-13, one or both minors, but not 55+, 2+ controls
1NT = 9-13 balanced, no 4M unless 4333, 2+ controls
2 = 5-8, 4M & 5+m
2 = 5-8, Wilkosz
2 = 5-8, weak two in or
2 = 9-13, 55+ -
2NT = 5-8, both minors
Others natural

They count points as:
A = 4.5
K = 3
Q = 1.5
J = 0.75
T = 0.25

I guess the doc I sent Free is out-of-date. My partner didn't like some of the changes I made so we regressed to the following changes.

1 = 9-13, 5+, no 4cM unless 5-4-4-0
2 = 9-13, 5+, no 4cM unless 5-4-4-0, <5
2 and 2 are weak twos

I still think the changes I made are better though so if you want to play the system I suggest you play it as it is written.

In any case, WE NEED SOME OPPS! So many people who just sit down overrate themselves and completely fall apart when the tinest weird thing happens at the table. We want good opps, so we challenge everyone on the face of the earth to come beat us!

DrTodd, I'll play you tonight (in 8 3/4 hours). If anyone reading this wants to be my pd, let me know.

Tuesday if everything goes well, I'll play with my f2f partner MOSCITO PASS against Dejeuner. B)

Our opening structure:
Pass = 13+HCP, 8+SP, any distribution
1 = ~8-13HCP, 5+SP, 4+, can have longer m
1 = ~8-13HCP, 5+SP, 4+, can have longer m
1 = 0-7(8)HCP, any which can't preempt
1 = ~8-13HCP, 5+SP, 4+, unbalanced, can have longer
1NT = 9-12(13)HCP, 5+SP, balanced (maximum if a Major is held)
2 = ~8-13HCP, 5+SP, 6+, 0-3
2 = weak, 55+ M-m
2 = weak, 6+ or
2 = weak, 55+ Majors or minors
2NT = poor minor preempt
