(Sorry this doesn't make sense since I forgot the most importnat option). You could vote for "something else" maybe ....)

Another poll about basic Precision, not as you play it with your regular p but as you would play it with a pick-up p.

Suppose you hold something like
♠AQ98
♥AKT
♦KTxxx
♣J

A 2♦ rebid is probably the most natural option but it consumes a lot of bidding space.

1) I am not going to open 1♦.
2) Natural bids in as many situations as possible
3) Just 1♠ for me - show partner where you live.

I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

With development of the system, it became apparent that there were some hands where it was necessary to rebid a decent 4-card major versus bidding a so-so 5-bagger at the 2-level, the latter eating up bidding space too quickly. One of the initial selling points of the system was it's use of 5-card majors, the preferred style of the majority of players in the states when they system came out in US in about 1969-70.

I am not too comfortable with rebidding a 4-card major unless partnership has clear agreement that a dbl raise by advancer promises 4-card support.

i think responder shouldn't support the major without 4... maybe a good 3... imo opener should not bypass a 4 card major without very good reason
