Another trick 2 defense problem

IMPS - 8 board Swiss match.

1N was 10-13. 2H was 5+ hearts and a 4+ minor. Partner would've opened most 10s if it matters.

Partner leads the 3 (4th best), to dummy's 6, your K, and declarer's 4.

What do you return?

Because South isn't declarer.

A diagram with only two hands looks weird when you're behind dummy.

It seems natural to return a diamond. While I don’t know what’s happening in the suit, this might get me a ruff on the third round and will cut declarer off from dummy if he has diamond Tx or the like.

I was totally confused because in the diagram, West is placed at the LHO of North.

I also find these diagrams confusing, but the point is that the “table” is the green square and not the box with the auction.
