Unusual auction to say the least.
Assuming that you will lead hearts, what are your agreements on leads from AQ62?

If I were desperate to get partner on lead I might underlead my ace.. but unless bridge has evolved to 5 suits to give me a void, I'm not seeing such a reason.

I wouldn't lead heart on this auction + hand. But if you forced me to, there's no reason not to lead ace. That at least avoids complete debacles like declarer winning K in dummy or hand opposite a stiff. In general underleading aces is terrible at suit contracts. At your level maybe it should just never be done. Generally you only do it in desperate situations, to induce a misguess (and here no reason to, as you have the Q and it's not like declarer can misguess from KJ tight in dummy, or Kx dummy vs Jx in hand), or you desperately need to get partner in for a lead in another suit (e.g. you have void and want ruff at trick 2 to beat a slam). Here there's nothing on the side for partner to lead to your advantage so it'd be nuts to not lead ace, if choosing to lead the suit.

Thanks, you answered my question well The only reason not to lead Ace, if leading hearts is to get partner in for a ruff, I can use the 6 and 2 to give suit preference.
The ♠J was led here.

given that the 1H occurred pretty late, it is nearly certain, that p does not have the HK.
P should have approx. 10HCP and a 5 card heart suit, if the suit was any good, he would have bid
it earlier.

Starting with the jack of spade seems safe.
If I have to attack heart, it is the Ace.

Double would have been fine, I guess pard didn't want to put ♠QJ2 down as dummy.
I'm not sure that we should, carte blanche be following the rule "don't let the opps play at the 2 level" ,it's a new treatment for me. You know what I think about bridge rules.

I posted this because the potential lead choice interested me, I can only try to fix my own mistakes.

The rule is normally "don't let the opponents play in a *fit* at the 2 level". Though not actually relevant since here it's about whether you want the opponents to play at the *one* level, which is definitely a more unusual / rare situation..

On a side note: the auction looks like, somebody is sitting on close values to make a more pos. move,
i.e. the reopening is dangerous in the sense, that they may bid game.
I dont undertstand their pass of the 1D response, but obv. this is not your concern.
