I did play 1nt , +1. The players I am helping were taught not to open 1nt with two doubletons, they have an aversion to playing in nt, especially if it may be 1nt. It’s a work in progress to get them to bid 1nt freely.

I wanted to name this topic Why is 2C so hard but thought that would give the game away.

Possibly 2NT or 1NT - yet again I post and then see that the hand has been posted - honestly - Haven't got a plan yet
