I am braving criticism for my ambitious bidding and almost denied the Queen to stay in 5 but

Whatever you think of my bidding we were still short an Ace

Almost a glorious top

I wouldn't say that the Robot "cannot count," but that your Blackwood response simply pushed you past your last making contract.

While I don't like your bidding much (how many points did you count for that singleton Q? :) - and you appear "short a heart" as well as "short an Ace"), the Robot (in my observations from my brief experience with it) doesn't downgrade its hand enough for wasted honors opposite known singletons. South needs to produce either a spade cuebid or first round control in clubs to continue beyond 4, so I would describe the Blackwood call by the Robot as a clear error.

I only went a minimum (for me) Soloway because I liked my hand
I could have even miscounted or maybe not counted points at all and just felt it had potential
Just needed one more Ace between us
We could have stopped in 5

It's partly old fashioned upbringing where a jump was just a game force when I started playing. It's almost a Soloway

And hearts were not the problem lol

6 losers and 13 or so points
Game with potential if opener has a nice hand

Crude assessment without further information is that.it makes 5 opposite an average opener with a fit. I don't know if 7 top trumps counts as a fit

I always like to upgrade nice suits

But not being able to count key cards has happened before and I almost downgraded my response to Blackwood

I think I possibly miscounted with the excitement of such a nice suit

But missing two Aces doesn't often make slam

What did you want it to bid over 5S? It's forced to slam even though it is off 2 aces.
