Screen freezing after looking at biards

I have been playing a couple of tournaments where the results are posted to Mail. I can log into BBO and view the mail. If I then click on Show Boards this will open the results in Safari (I am on an iPad). I can view the results and look at what others have done. If I close that window and open up BBO to look at another a Mail. BBO is frozen. I tried looking in cookies no luck. The only way I have found to fix this is to restart my iPad which is a pain. This used to work fine. The issue has only started happening in the last two weeks. Any idea how to fix it.

When you switch from the BBO app to Safari, the app stops responding to the BBO server's "are you still there?" messages, and the server disconnects you. This should normally throw you back to the login screen when you return to the BBO app. If not, you'll need to force-quit the app (you don't have to restart the iPad).
