I've notified BBO of multiple errors in this Robot's definition of ACOL. They reply that this definition is provided by another company, who decline to engage with me. Here are just a few examples of improvements which are required. I have many more.
The 2C opening bid requires 23+ HCP, or - with a slightly lower HCP (say 20+) - significant strength and length in two suits, usually 5-5 or better.
The 2D response to 2C may be relatively unlimited, unless Responder holds 8+ HCP with a 5+ suit no worse than QJxxx in quality.
The 2NT opening bid is 20-21 HCP, and most definitely can contain a 5-card Major. For stronger hands, open 2C and rebid 2NT (22-23) or 3NT (24-25).
I invite others to join me in pressing BBO to upgrade this Robot into something which genuine ACOL players will recognise.

BBO has a specific forum 'BBO Robot Discussion' but unfortunately it is not yet split into sub-fora for specific robots or robot-system combinations.
The discussion of the Argine robot playing Acol has been confined to this thread, to which I imagine this discussion should be moved.
Having said that, I'm not sure your criticisms are fully on target.
Yes 20 HCP for 2NT is less than traditional and yes Terence Reese never contemplated a 5 card major (even to the point of not seeing the need to exclude it), but they don't seem to necessitate any modifications to traditional Acol developments other than remembering that opener could be 5 card.
The strong 2♣ opening is not an intrinsical point of any system and I wouldn't be surprised if early Acol played it as clubs and forcing.
In 1973 Terence Reese played it as 23+ balanced, 22+ 5-4 or soft 6=, 20+ strong 6= or moderate 7=, 18+ strong 7=.
