I am sure this is my fault for opening 2 clubs, but it happened to many people who opened 1H, and arrived via different paths
Strangely some of them did not get a club lead

I have done all my diligent checks, added up the points I promised and I believe there is still room for an Ace out there somewhere

I know this crazy thought has been expressed by me before but I am convinced the bots punish you for not making ths system bid

I know I know, double dummy sim of possible distrubutions and leads makes a grand near certain lol

And the saddest thing of all is that I sat there a while contemplating taking control with BLackwood myself - asap lol

Total over reaction and I do not bully - your response is disgusting to me.!

There is a question mark at the end -it may state 19+hcp points in the explanation, but the programming may have been made with say 21+ points - I posed it as an explanation for the way the bidding went.

I think its time you stopped posting if you cant pare down your over-reactions.

Hi all,

I removed a post from this thread that did not align with our community guidelines, as it seemed to be overly heated. We all share a passion for bridge, however, it's important to remember to express our views without resorting to personal attacks or aggressive language.

Let's continue to engage in respectful and constructive way.

Just arrived to the forum, not sure what happened with this thread.

I much prefer 1 to 2 here, but either should have easily reached 6.
I agree with OP that on the actual auction 3 was the right rebid and robot had no good reason to jump to a grand slam without further investigation.

I don't think so. The North hand opposite a standard 2C opening can visualise nothing short of a grand slam.

If I had opened 2C, and heard partner bid 2S (natural, positive), I would launch Blackwood right away.

The robot North thinks their side has at least 38 HCP, perhaps all 40. North's action, although hasty, is merited.

I'm not sure what you think is a standard 2C opening: the robot thinks it means 19+HCP, which is not how I see it but is what counts.
The robot itself has 16 HCP so I don't see why it should not be able to visualise going down in a grand slam, unlikely though it may be.
