Hi

GiB regularly makes such cue bids when I would have been happier with a simple 3-level raise of the suit
I am not a big fan of being forced to a questionnably unnecessary level of bidding

Strangely this makes but can we not still have a bit less force and I would have been happy in 3 or 3+1

The other stupid thing is that basically it is making your game bid for you - what's the point
Passed hand, compettive auction etc

It is a different bidding style. Not I think we may have game if you have a decent hand kind of system

I accept it makes game but how did it know, and some of us like more choice. Does it mean you have a stop and 3NT is possible :)

I appreciate we have (just)enough points for game but how did it know?

Sorry South is me. NEW are all robots :) and I have the best hand - there is still huge variability in possible hands
