You are defending 6nt. Declarer plays a small card towards dummy's qt9. You're sitting over dummy with kjx. Over dummy's 9 you play the King to give declarer a loosing option.

Is this a mandatory falsecard?

Imo, yes.

I suppose it depends on definitions but this is a classic example of something every good player ought to be doing very smoothly. The only risk is that partner might have Ax but that doesn’t apply against 6N…it can against lower contracts where there’s room for partner to have Ax.

Sorry there isn't much to follow up about, it's not related to an actual hand. I was just thinking about suit combinations when I couldn't fall asleep and then I started think about this combo
