Ekren didn't like using 2!H to show the majors. I doubt that he'd like seeing this 2!H bid described as Ekrens.

My impression is that this (broad) class of Preempts is typically described as "assumed fit"

Yep - 2♦ is Ekren; 2♥ is 'Ekren' style and supposedly harder to play against
