If the EW bidding at a bidding practice table is controlled by the host, there is no facility for the host to alert the bids made.

This would be useful where the host is helping a pair practise against conventions not played by the robots, such as Multi 2 or Flannery 2.

Occasionally I help pairs who want to practise against a variety of actions and the alert function would be nice to have. Of course I could just chat to the table, but it's slower.

I suspect the alert function may have been removed and, hopefully, could be easily restored.

Are you opposed to using a teaching table? I'm pretty sure the alert function works there.

Okay.

Not particularly opposed but we were only bidding :)
