Hello all, can anyone tell me the difference other than cost when choosing to play either: Express 4 Fast Boards or Express Rewards 4 Fast Boards? Thanks and Cheers

Click on the 'details' tab for the tourney before you register.
The rewards tourney allow for the opportunity to generate vast wealth beyond the wildest dreams of Avarice.

Perfect. I have one other question u might be able to answer: is there a way to determine if the Express game default setting will be 2/1 or SA? Thanks

It says 2/1 but good luck with that.
It's exactly the same as any other individual.
Everyone does exactly the same thing in their own unique way.

Having just had 20 minutes wasted by someone making a suicidal idiotic sacrifice, I'd just be happy if the tournaments respected people's ignore list, so that if we have previous data on someone's "unique way" being moronic, we don't get penalised twice

Yes people do things that are the Bridge equivalent of walking into traffic without looking both ways.

Politicians (and the general public) think that events that have a 1% chance of happening every year (major pandemics for example) are not worth preparing for.
And it is annoying when people do things we think are foolish and irresponsible because you and I never make mistakes, take unnecessary risks, lack sufficient knowledge, get distracted by (e.g. Russian invaders) etc etc.

But to coin a word I think FONK (fear of not knowing) what partner will understand by your bid/lead is the biggest issue.

The 2/1 system that "everyone is playing" includes the following minor transfer system:

1NT (15-17 2-5 HSCD) - with no interference the following applies:
2NT means?
3C means?
2S means?
How about 1D - pass - 2H?

What about Lebensohl?

What does the lead of a K against a 4S contract usually mean?
Setting aside the question of the proportion of players that have made an effort to read the GIB 2/1 system notes (which is the 2/1 that is meant when they say "everyone plays 2/1"), what would you be willing (in an individual) to bid over 1NT with the following:
AKxxx
AQxxx
xx
x
