Playing below your ACBL level

If someone has over 99 points, how are they still playing in the 99er games?

BBO points != ACBL points. You can get them in many games that aren't ACBL sanctioned games.

It's the same as the pair that played rubber for $5/hundred for 15 years, but never played duplicate until last year.

Know that this evens out in time, as their superior experience points them out quickly.

Also, know that this is bad for their game, and they'll learn skills that work against the newer players that backfire against more experienced players.

The same thing can happen when playing too much robot bridge.
