There was a bridge player called Fred
Who couldn't tell black cards from red.
If a diamond was played
He would put on a spade
So he now plays backgammon instead.

It's not about our Fred, of course.

There was a young Lall from Plano
Who's schooling went down the draino
At night and unseen
He masquerades as Justine
And signs all BBO posts as Jane O.

There was a young man named Justin
Who majored in bridge discussion
With no active peers
Due to very few years
He created his alternate - Dustin.

There was once a man named Roland
Who some thought was from Poland
But they force with pass
While he bids fast
Bad slams blamed on Smolen

There was Alex the dude
Who was never rude
But he did rhyme
As he was biding his time
And all that while he was in the nude

There is a Fluffy young lady it seems
who's bidding is sometimes serene
she passes a lot
only bids what she's got
I wouldn't double her in YOUR dreams.

Who is sometimes mistook for Al Rothy
But while Al bids online games
Slothy's bidding's too lame
Besides, Al's disc ain't a floppy!

Oops. Sorry.

There is a Fluffy young person it seems
who's bidding is sometimes serene
He or she passes a lot
only bids what he or she's got
I wouldn't double him or her in YOUR dreams.

  • Interests:My personal interests are my family and my friends. I am extremely concerned about the lives and futures of the kids (and their families) that I work with. I care about the friends I have made on BBO. Also, I am extremely concerned about the environment/ ecology/ wildlife/ the little planet that we call Earth. How much more of the world's habitat and food supply for animals do we plan on destroying. How many more wetlands are we going to drain, fill, and build on? How many more sand dunes are we going to knock down in the interests of high-rise hotels or luxury homes?

you mean things like:

"Fred Gitelman, CEO" = "I'm a decent golfer"

Not sure if he plays golf, though...
