It depends on context. Suppose that you are competing in an individual,. Further, suppose that all players must agree the same standard system-card. Finally, suppose you forget your methods. Consensus in law-discussion threads seems to be that you have a right to consult your opponents' card. Serendipitously, this provides the information you need.

When playing with and against GIBs, similar conditions obtain.
