How to force BBO back to default/initial view

A friend of mine did something that made his chat area or chat line disappear. I doubt it is because he somehow disabled Display Chat. He thinks it may be connected to maximizing a view. I can’t so far get him to send me a picture of the computer screen.

How does one make it so when you go to www.bridgebase.com and log in that you will get the familiar split screen with tabs on the right edge that you get the first time you try BBO?

Go to Account -> Settings and enable "Split Screen" and "Show chat".

There's also a big "Restore defaults" button at the bottom left of the Settings screen.

You should also be able to delete the browser cookies for bridgebase.com. Next time you log in you will be presented with the default view.
