I notice BBO has a practice hands option. Is it possible to use this to practice a new convention or system with a partner, for example specifying hand types to deal where the convention will apply and can be practiced? I'd like to practice Multi-Landy and a modification to Jacoby 2NT with one of my regular partners, maybe also practice dealing with interference over our multi openings.

The forum - https://www.bridgeba...ure-and-dealer/ - is the best place to find and ask for advice on doing this.

I also blogged about it: https://thebeercard....-html5-bbo.html
The Beer Card

I don't work for BBO and any advice is based on my BBO experience over the decades

Thanks, I didn't realise there was such a discussion about dealer scripts.
Seeing as full disclose is (unfortunately) dead it would seem a good idea for BBO to split or rename this forum so that people can find dealer script information.

Also check out my stash of dealer code snippets at this this link you can click.

And the related YouTube video at this link you can click. It's oriented toward the Flash version of BBO, but the principal is transferrable to the HTML5 version.

About the Jacoby 2NT change, you might try this link (Majors and MajorsB)

And for the Multi-Landy, try the one just below the forgoing two. It's entitled "Their 1NT".

Cheers.
