Has the undo option been removed from the BBO screen? For several days now it has not been shown on my device either during bidding or during play. Or is my device acting up?

For questions like this it would be extremely helpful if we knew what your device was. There are many variants of BBO: Windows, Mac, browser, Android, iPhone.
But I suspect the Undo option has moved from a button to the table menu, which is the blue box with three horizontal lines.

The EBU tournaments have eliminated the UNDO option. A better alternative is to confirm bids and plays.

Whether Undo is allowed is a choice of the table host or tournament organizer. It's not enabled in most tournaments.

My device is a Windows 10 laptop. Up until a week ago the undo button was on the playing screen when I plaedy at the casual level - now it's gone, and it's not on the Table menu either. Thoughts?

As I said above, the table host can choose whether Undo is allowed. If it's not in the hamburger menu, it means they didn't allow it.
