If you're talking about the daylong games, there's no way to unregister from them. Sorry.

You can write to accounting@bridgebase.com for a refund.

Best, of course, is to simply pay attention to the computer screen when registering for a tournament. If the screen says it is an individual game, and you want to play in a pairs game, do not complete the registration.
