BBO Clubs area of BB Forums?

Dear Moderators

Is it possible to have an area of BB Forums for BBO Clubs: messages, info, extended news etc. Each Club cd have it's own subsection for postings etc. The old BBO Community Yahoo Group seems to be dying a death and a gap may very soon appear ... indeed if truth be told it's probably there now.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Are there any obvious drawbacks? (Example: Danger that club "owners" will stop using the built-in News facility on BBO.)

It would be an adjunct to the Club News facility to be found in the Club lobby areas.

The Club News is one user only tho viz. the Manager. BBO Clubs are still only single person managed, whereas a Club proper in the real world has more than one "helper"/organizer.

Also a BB Forum slot is more interactive and democratic ... more ideas, more feedback, a healthier situation for a Club really. Members will feel more involved.

SKR is off on a vacation, as we may have noticed. I think we'er better off w/ a few thriving groups than many unattended groups.

I don't think the clubs-group would draw any meaningful traffic. Of course, SKR may prove me wrong when he returns

I sincerely hope so, Uday ... anyway too much traffic can be bad for you ... unless you're a chicken of course
