Obviously East could start with 3D with this hand. The bid itself and followups are likely ill defined so going to be super hard to get to slam anyway. Is there really enough room for West to distinguish that he is 6-5-1-1 and not 5-5-1-2 where slam is pretty hopeless with the same honors? HK is most likely offside from the bidding. Even with the given hands south could have all the spades or clubs could be 5-2 so it's not cold. Not an area where even human partnerships tend to have firm agreements, would be pretty low on the priority totem pole for them to super-optimize.

I think someone explained earlier that the views in the forum don't update until someone replies due to bug.

I feel like bumping your own post just because no one replies seems needy. Who cares? Not all GIB bugs are particularly interesting other than to the developers who should fix them when clearly a problem and of high enough priority relative to other issues. You post a bazillion bugs, of varying levels of egregiousness and some are less interesting than others. Post, people will either chime in or not if they have something to say about it or not, I don't think you should be expecting reply to every single one of your posts.

Never seen this since I came on the forum

I don't care about 0 replies. I care about 0 views. That tells me the presentation system is broken. I am not an attention seeker.
Therefore I am not "expecting reply to every single one of your posts".

You and JDonn seem to be in agreement here. If I see an anomaly I post. Case closed. If it is a repetition of a previous post, too bad. It should have been fixed then.
I hope the "egregiousness" you mention is GUBBO egregiousness.

Overall, despite being brilliant wrt completeness of your post/responses, you are either a software developer or a mathematician neither of whom have a sense of humor. In addition your Zodiac sign is probably Aquarius LOL

With due respect

Well, if you don't look at your own threads..

Also, jdonn is the actual developer capable of making changes. If you aren't going to take into account his advice on posting bugs, why do you think things "should have been fixed"? Highly likely he is no longer reading your posts, so 0 chance of being fixed now.

I forget sm, whether views or replies was the afterthought. One of them was. I was not aware the numbers got updated only when there was a reply or i forgot which. I went thru my emails and found my first discontent to gitelman/uday/support was around 2006/7. That is about 11 years in which GUBBO has improved except in competitive bidding and using rkc and attitude vs. count.
If JDonn wants to read let him read. I don't care. But if I see an anomaly I will post it here. 11 years is a long time. Now I look forward to entertainment not "bridge".
