I had posted previously how BBO does not allow F-Bombs in "private" chats between players but only for American players. They are allowed for non-American players.

I have a new BBO edit. Based on GIBBO going nuts whenever has length in opponent(s) suit, I happened to mention "GIBBO gets M Argos when has length in opp(s) suit" at a private Money Bridge Table specifically to a friendly opponent. Boom! a message popped up "Please do not use abusive language". "Abusive"?????

My request to you all is to send me messages - both American and non-American - with the word M Argos in it. Its an anagram of M Argos. I want to evaluate BBO censorship in light of messages. Message virgosrock. Maybe BBO wants to cut down America's birthrate assuming M Argos is nature's way of ensuring the human species proliferates.

Ridiculous!! Let your software engineers fix GIBBO instead of such balderdash censorship.

Think of the restaurant scene in When Harry Met Sally - where the lady says - "I'll have what she's having"! The clip is on you tube.

I put it into an anagram creator to find it. It certainly seems to have been an inappropriate use of the word by the original poster, so perhaps it was really the logic that BBO objected to, under the guise of it being "abusive".

I have run into just so many sequences where GIBBO takes aggressive action when has length in opps suit and later makes the abstruse double. To me no other word depicts this behavior. Maybe better ones out there. If I said same to "Lobby", yes, there is cause for concern. If the receiver at the table objects, yes, there is cause for concern.

Am still waiting to determine if allowed for non-American users.

As a kibitzer at an invisible teaching table with only me present I first wrote the o-word to the Table and got a warning (in English, I believe) for abusive language. Then I said the o-word to the Kibitzers and was expelled from BBO for two minutes. When I logged in again, there was message to me from BBO System Account, saying

"Du har blitt utvist for å ha brukt upassende språk.",

which I guess best translates as

"You have been expelled for using improper language."

(The literal translation of 'upassende' is 'unfitting'.)

Full disclosure: I only use abusive/improper language when participating in virgosrock's experiments!

Interesting. Could you repeat same for F-Bomb to verify it passes for non-american users. It did pass for my opponents in Money Bridge.
