Was 4D showing hidden spade support? I suppose my 3S could be 3 cards in simulatorville. Then suddenly my "points" jump because I bid 5D. Or do I wait for GIBBO to double again then do something?

IMO both W and N made poor bids.
But after your minimal reply to double then nothing more or less than 4 makes much sense.

East's initial pass seems rather poor too :/

West opening is not bad at this vulnerability.

There are times when sensible bidding with Gib is just impossible.
Gib has huge spade support, why is doing anything but raising spades unless 4D is forcing.
So 4 has to be forcing and description seems to indicate it is unlimited and big diamond suit.
Can you be blamed showing trump support with a singleton. Maybe, but there are so many cases where the obvious bid shows a big hand if this isn't the right example.
Sarcasm is a state of mind

I will report it, mostly based on spades not being raised. To me that is the big problem of the hand.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

Yes, in my experience, if it's a day with a "y" in the name.

(Caveat: GiB probably plays better than I do. But he doesn't scream as loudly when I mess up.)
