Doesn't matter if it makes or not you want to be there. There is a 4-1 trump break. how is it on a 3-2?
My partner last night passed a forcing bid as he didn't like his hand.
He had ATxx Tx Jx AKxxx.. Not a maximum Precision 2♣ but i like it better than a lot of maximums when I force in hearts.
I made 4H luckily but field went down in 4H. It takes good defense to beat. 10 minutes later i figured out how to make 4 after any lead but spades.
But partner thought I was crazy complaining about passing a forcing bid as 3♥ even without the overtrick is a top.

Well sorry I want Gib to bid game on this hand or at least invite.

And FWIW it made, though I played it distractedly and I imagine that better opponents could have thwarted me.

Not recommending or defending GIBBO's choice. My guess is it simulated and picked up a corner case because it was "tired". Picks up corner cases often.

It certainly happened.
I imagine it was a basic bot (for some reason they don't tell).
Probably a TCR90 tournament, if you like I can check (should be easy to trace, I posted it very soon after).

I'm not saying you made it up, just saying I have seen thousands of transfer auctions from GIB and never seen anything like this happen until now. If it repeats it will be a problem that needs to be fixed. For now I can't imagine why it happened but think it is some kind of fluke.
