At Philly, the new Convention chart proposal passed!
http://www.acbl.org/...vention-charts/

What do you think are going to be the most popular changes to systems/bidding based on these changes?

Here's my list:
1) Multi 2
2) Transfer Walsh *** my personal favorite change and biggest reason to celebrate!
3) Kaplan Inversion (after 1, the 1 and 1NT responses are flipped)

Then to a lesser extent ...
4) Multi-way forcing 1 systems in general (Polish, Carrot, Tangerine, etc.) combined with some sort of transfer responses (T-Walsh, for ex.)
5) Canape'- responder now can bid next step as an artificial negative

And then just speculation ...
6) Forcing 1 systems? A 1 response doesn't have to be natural any more.
7) Forcing 1NT that promise invite or better values?

What else? I don't know a lot of what's out there because I've always tried to restrict my theoretical wanderings to GCC legal topics.

There is (pretty much) no change to the rules wrt multi 2D
Still banned in anything less that 7 boards.

As Adam pointed on on bridgewinners, you could play a strong multi 2D opening (showing 10+ HCPs)
Not sure how popular that would prove to be...

On what lowest level card will T-Walsh be allowed?

Open (I believe)

I didn't see any language permitting this on the two lower level charts and it doesn't appear to be banned in the Open Chart

This was always allowed assuming 1D promised 15 hcp.
Sarcasm is a state of mind

True. I play 1D=15+ 1D-1H (6-9 or 14-15), 1D-1S (0-5) and 1D-1NT and above Symmetric Relay. The system is GCC under the old method and the only pre-alert is the canapé 1H and 1S opening which is not necessary to play.
