So 2 over 1-1M/N is currently showing the intermediate 1-suiters w/ 6+ C? Then how about

1 = same as now but excluding "10-15, 1-suited w/ 6+ C" and including "11-15, 3-suited w/ short C" (makes 1 NAT)
...1M/N = same as now
......2 = "11-15, 3-suited w/ short C"
......other = same as now
...other = same as now
2 = "11-15, 3-suited w/ C" or "10-15, 1-suited w/ 6+ C"
...2 = relay (same as now?)
......2 = "11-15, 3-suited w/ H" (as in Roman Club, but guaranteeing C)
......2 = "11-15, 3-suited w/ short H" (as in Roman Club)
......2N/3 = 1-suiters w/ 6+ C (as in one Belladonna's 1986 version of Roman Club, but with "10-15" instead of "16-19")
...(...)
other = same as now (so 3 is PRE)

?

Should be GCC legal.

Not too shabby.....of course solving one problem introduces another....our current responses to 2D over 2C ( 3 suited).are

2H...minimum with Hearts
2S,,,minimum, short in Hearts
2NT,3C,3D, and 3H are all maximums, submarining the shortness...

your suggestion seems workable as well and gives more to ponder.....Takk!!!

Precision L...I think I have to keep a 3-suited bid somewhere playing canapé, though it seems most here might suggest opening 2D to show it..As I seem to recall...you play a canapé system ? where/how do you show the 4441 hand or some 4540 hands?

4540 hands? Open the 4-cd suit and Canape into the 5-cd suit. With 5-4 major hands do NOT Canape, bid them normally.
44(41) hands, 44 majors, open 1. 4144, open 1 (the suit under the singleton as per Goren). 1444: your choice, open 1 if you are comfortable rebidding 1NT with a singleton. Any particular 4441 hand only occurs 0.75 % of all distributions. Occasionally open 1 if s are much stronger (for the lead). Rebidding a suit at the 1-level does not promise a Canape.
Ultra Relay: see Daniel's web page: https://bridgewithda...19/07/Ultra.pdf
C3: Copious Canape Club is still my favorite system. (Ultra upgraded, PM for notes)

Santa Fe Precision published 8/19. TOP3 published 11/20. Magic experiment (Science Modernized) with Lenzo. 2020: Jan Eric Larsson's Cottontail . 2020. BFUN (Bridge For the UNbalanced) 2021: Weiss Simplified (Canape & Relay). 2022: Canary Modernized, 2023-4: KOK Canape.

Thanks...I guess I prefer opening the 3 suited hand at the 2 level when I have 0454 or 0445 distribution, vs. canapé 1H and then rebidding the Minor....perhaps making it more difficult for the Opponents to get tp the right Spade contract
