5D probably shouldnt show 29-30 points.

Something really went wrong here.
Why is S promising 4+♠m yes probably 4S but promise?
Why does N promise 16+ pts with 4D but not promise any diamonds?
South's 5D promises strong rebiddable diamonds but not pts.? Should need great D North has shown good D.
Why does North's 7D show 2+D and so few points as wyman says 5D is showing big points.

But if it did show 29-30 points, GIB North made an excellent bid to bid the grand. And it took precise defense to beat it for 800.

In real time, the explanation showed 2 lines, not the truncated explanation shown in the viewer. Specifically noted 29-30 points. I do forget if it specified HCP or total points.

I assume that the programmers can recreate.

Partner's 4♦ bid has apparently no minimum so 5♦ shows the 29 points required to make game opposite a potential yarb.
