One reason I haven't had a television for over 4 years now has been the dross, unprofessionalism and biased views of live media journalists. I have cringed many times when I have heard such inane, stupid and irrelevant questions asked by people who should know better. I feel liberated by not paying a television licence fee to fund the BBC, as this once respected British television channel has become a sad shadow of itself. But other TV channels are just as guilty. It's now all quantity over quality.

While the timing may have been distasteful, it is the kind of issue many people think about. Sometimes you have to ask disgusting questions like that, if only to gauge the way the respondent reacts.
