Woolsey in his grunt defense suggest playing a 1NT overcall of a nebulous minor as a 4 card major and a 5+ minor. This is very similar to the Raptor 1NT overcall, but in that case one suit is known when you overcall 1NT (you either have 5+om and 4M, or 4oM and 5m, depending on what they open).
So let's say they open a Precision 1D, and I overcall 1NT showing a 4 card major and a 5+ minor. What would be a reasonable continuation after this overcall? I guess that 2C and 2H should be pass/correct, but it makes kind of sense to have 2D as pass/correct too? On the other hand you probably want a forcing call, and 2D seems suitable for that. Does anyone play something like this, and if so what are your continuations?

I think you should consider playing precisely the same structure as with a double of a 1NT opening showing major + minor. This is a popular method and there are plenty of BBF threads and other write-ups on the subject if you search around.

That's probably a good idea, thank you! We've been handling the nebulous 1♦ as natural for quite a while, and think it may be time to change to something new.

Woolsey defence says this:
Seems sane, with of course the option to pass 1NT.

Responses to Double:
If they interfere:
- 2C: = pass or correct After 2D:, 2H: is pass or correct
- 2D: = what's your major? (NB: NOT forcing [Mycroft - because they include some single-suited minor hands in their 4M-5+m double])
- 2H:,2S: = natural, to play
- 2NT = artificial, please describe
- 3C: = min clubs
- 3D: = min diamonds
- 3H: = max clubs
- 3S: = max diamonds
- 3C:,3D: = to play
- 3H:,3S: = natural, invitational, good suits
- 3NT = to play
- 4x = Namyats
If they interfere:
- 2NT = pick your minor
- all else natural (no way to find major)
- double suggests defending
