Well, the first pass shows he doesn't have an opening hand, I believe that, so it is really the second pass that I have to judge. Otherwise put: The situation is no different than if the dealer is to my right, 1H-X-2H-P-P.
But yes:
I have become convinced, and I remain so even though bidding on worked well for everyone who did it.There are two reasons that it worked out well for them: First, partner has more than I can reasonably expect. Second, even with extras, a double followed by good defense will make me regret the double. A little pushiness at mps is often worth it, but this is over the line. So I now think.
Bidding on and having it work because they forgot to double and/or forgot to set it is not a good reason for doing it again.
