To be honest, I'm fairly sure I misplayed this (and indeed, I did give the defense a chance to beat it). I figured with 6 top tricks after winning the spade, I pretty much needed 2 heart tricks while only losing 1 (can't play on clubs or defense has 6 tricks). Ducking the first trick seems to give me better chances I think (requiring RHO to have 3+ clubs to at least an honor (only 1 honor if more than 3 clubs). However, the ending (starting trick 8) is something you don't see every day

Is that called a suicide triple squeeze?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Suicide guard squeeze. Googling the term seems to suggest it's really rare.

Progressive squeeze? If E thros a red card it only costs one trick initially but she will subsequently be squeezed in clubs and the other red suit.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Not a progressive because we are only one trick short of our objective. But like triples, guard squeezes require an opponent to be busy in three suits.
