To be honest, I'm fairly sure I misplayed this (and indeed, I did give the defense a chance to beat it). I figured with 6 top tricks after winning the spade, I pretty much needed 2 heart tricks while only losing 1 (can't play on clubs or defense has 6 tricks). Ducking the first trick seems to give me better chances I think (requiring RHO to have 3+ clubs to at least an honor (only 1 honor if more than 3 clubs). However, the ending (starting trick 8) is something you don't see every day :)

Is that called a suicide triple squeeze?
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

Suicide guard squeeze. Googling the term seems to suggest it's really rare.

Pretty fratricidal guard squeeze! Ducking the first trick might be embarrassing, when LHO has led from a 4-card suit e.g A K 9 6 :( A better shot might be to win Q and return a :)

Progressive squeeze? If E thros a red card it only costs one trick initially but she will subsequently be squeezed in clubs and the other red suit.
The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Not a progressive because we are only one trick short of our objective. But like triples, guard squeezes require an opponent to be busy in three suits.
