Windows 10, the old BBO download and LIN files

I recently purchased a new laptop which naturally has Windows 10 ... I downloaded the old version of BBO because I like playing with that version, and also to be able to upload set hands etc for practices. We played a team match last night, and the usual .LIN file was not recorded, or to be more precise the first hand was recorded but not others.
I did experience that before when the person that set up the match was using Windsows 10, so not sure if it is their issue or mine or both???
