Agree, but GIB has been doing this forever, don't remember it ever being fixed.

I thought I remembered it being fixed but couldn't find it. Searching the forum this problem certainly has been around for a very long time.
If it hasn't been fixed it should be a priority to fix.

• GIB will have improved judgement about when to respond 1NT or 2NT to a minor suit opening rather than raising the minor on a balanced hand with 4 card support and stoppers.
• GIB will no longer make a crazy jump to 6NT in a contested auction without the A or K of the opponents' suit.
• Multiple bug fixes.

Maybe the Gib severs have been aging and occasionally lose effectiveness.
