Hi,

does anyone know any intermediate to advanced books available in PDF format?

Also, I would greatly appreciate links to Victor Mollo's Menagerie series, if anywhere available in pdf.

I live in a country where bridge books are not something you find in your local bookstore :).

Regards,

Pedja.

"Partnership Bidding", by Robson-Segal, can be found on Daniel Neill's site: http://www.geocities.../sys/index.html. It's not a scan from the original book: it's a complete re-type in A4-format. But IMHO the result is quite readable...

sorry folks, I gotta lay my cards on the table here.

There aren't many of us around, but I make my living out of selling bridge books, software etc.

As far as I'm aware there are no bridge authors that have published e-books, so it would seem to me that books available in .pdf might be an infringement of copyright yada yada.

If bridge books arent available at your local bridge store, google bridge shops or bridge books and you'll find plenty of reputable on-line traders.

I agree nick - but I understand that the Partnership Bidding PDF is legal.

I realize that shipping may add to the cost, but a great number of excellent bridge books may be found at the lowest possible price via:

http://www.campusi.c...ook/default.asp

Its a book store search engine. I've used it to buy dozzens of bridge books.
I can get new books at a 25%-50% discount, and used books for %50 or less of the retail price.

Also, Carl Ritner sells books at:

http://www.carlritner.com/ACBL.htm

He is a reputable seller, I've bought many books from him.

If you want good bridge articles for free I suggest the following sites:

Greg Matula's Book on Polish Club can be bought at Jannersten. I'm not sure but I think some other books are available as E-Books as well.

To nickf: It is possible to sell your books as E-Books. In principle more people could print them out, but I could also take your book to a copyshop now. For both methods this is not necessarily a very cheap way to get a nice book. There will ALWAYS be a market for real books.
