Matchpoints, ACBL robot individual

Whether or not you agree with the double of 1 (planning to rebid cheapest NT), 3NT over North's 3 bid should not require 22 HCP. And how likely is it that South will ever hold 22+ when East has opened and North has jumped? The current scheme leaves South without a way to bid 18+ to 21 HCP hands in this sequence, and needs correction.

[Heresy follows: Since North has made a limit bid, South should have the unfettered option to bid 3NT with any hand without fear that North will self-destruct. If/when this is corrected, I'd suggest that South's bid show no more than 13 HCP.]

I think we are talking about tx10s auction in adjacent thread.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

My link

Electrical storm prevented me from posting correction sooner. This is the auction to which I was referring.
