dbl is fine. Removing 4 red to 4 shows spades and a second place to play.

Dbl is fine but 4 sp next....

I personally would not do that. At some point we need to show dia support. Pd has stiff club if not void considering the way they bid. If we start constructing hands for pd we see we are very close to slam. I really don't see an upside to hiding dia fit even if we implied tolerance. Particularly if pd bids 4 showing 6-4. I am not really thrilled about 5-2 spade fit. Kx Kxxx AJxxxx x for example.
