Nice stopper, East ...too bad that wasn't my suit.

Interesting, the description of 2NT also says 11-13 HCP. Of course, E is a little short on HCP for the bid, but if E has 14 HCP and a club stopper, does that mean E would bid 3NT after a strong 2 opening bid? This does not sound like an optimal system.

Thanks for reporting.

Fixed so 2NT won't be misinterpreted as stopper in unknown suit like here. It was unfortunately crossed sequence.

So now GIB would pass having 2 cards fit and nothing to fight for.
