North promised 9+ total points, and South promised 10-. When North has a rock cruncher, shouldn't it move again?

The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

Of course. with 4 losers, 3♥ is safe and exactly communicates that "I just need one card from you, partner."

But 3♥ doesn't give partner a clue as to what cards would be useful and what ones wouldn't. What would 3♦ show over 2♥?

Why not 3C? 2H doesn't promise a Heart fit. Clubs may yet be the right spot. 3C might be, even.
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.
Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mstr-mnding) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.
"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"
"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

North's pass gets my nomination for wimpy call of the year (but the year is young).
Clearly, North must take another call (other than pass). 3♣ seems like the right call on 5503.

This is a case where the description of a raise such as 3H is way too high. This hand is more than good enough in reality, and the descriptions need to be adjusted.

It's addressed for improvement as currently continuation in major increases only length and not so much strength, and bidding minor shows stopper.
Maybe it was Main Bridge Robot, as tourney robot finds the 3♣ call almost always.
Anyway, will be polished about meanings and followups.

I think it is questionable for what you said.
Obviously,Gib N can't cuebid 3♦ to show its feature of strong strength with 19TPs,at least Gib N should bid 3♥ to invite, whatever it is main bridge club or tourney.
