Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.
Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mstr-mnding) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.
"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"
"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

What's the problem? Should North have bid 4N?
It looks to me like EW kept NS from finding their minor suit slam. If 6 (or even 7!) of either major is played by South, West must make an unlikely heart lead to set it.

Maybe I am missing something, but I think that West's 4S at this vul is poor.
You (West) have the hearts wrapped up, and you are offering to the opponents the choice between a certain 800 and a speculative slam that may or may not make and, perhaps more importantly, may or may not be bid if you pass.
