I am wondering why Gib overcall 2 only with 4-card instead of double.

And, it's silly absurd to say that (according to the provided description) this bid requires a suit that's "twice rebiddable". (In GIBberish means 7-card suit, or 6 including 3 of the top 5.)

nitpick. This is called a "free bid", not an overcall. Overcall is by the side that doesn't opening the bidding.

Agree doing it on 4 cards at 2 level should be barred.

Ummm... East and West are partners... it's North's 2 bid that is in question...

Thanks for reporting.

This has been fixed in next version v31. I think there was similar post earlier.

But anyway, GIB will pass with that hand.

What about the "twice rebiddable" description? Can that be lowered?

Yeah.

Now would say: Two-level overcall -- 5+ ; 10+ HCP; 18- total points
