I'm assuming that North's pass of 2♣ after having redoubled is a bug that should be fixed. Else what's the point of having a redouble at our disposal? It was always my understanding that, except in unusual circumstance, after a redouble in this position the opponents could not play a contract undoubled, and as opener I was supposed to pass the run out (here 2♣) back to partner in case he/she wanted to double unless I could not stand for it.
I was also surprised to see that those Souths that bid 2♠ immediately over 2♣ were passed out. There was no system note for the 2♠ bid, so I guess that will remain a mystery. In isolation I would have guessed that South's hand was limited by the failure to pass 2♣ around to partner. But, if North can pass out both 2♣ and partner's 2♠, it seems like South just has to guess the final contract immediately.

Yes, N must act over 2C having redoubled. This seems so easy with this hand, 2D is automatic. Definitely a bug.
A 2S rebid by opener in this situation would be awful. Pass is clear cut. You are willing to defend 2CX if that is partner's choice.

No,I don't think it is a bug,Gib N's pass is a normal things since opener may hold 4432(3-card ♦),2♦ may be not a goog spot.
So it is best for Gib N to bid 1nt after double.
