Hi: I'm wondering about GIB analysis of hand 12 from this tourney -

Looking after trick 6 with South to lead in 6S - why does GIB think there's a difference which C South leads, when E holds AKQ?

I don't think that your link is accessible to the public. But what a great hand:
The reason is that if South leads the Club Jack at trick 7, then East can afford to jettison all of his Clubs as Diamonds are repeatedly led through him, leaving West's C8 to take care of the Club suit, and thereby East preserves his 4 card heart holding over the threat and so beat the slam. If South leads a low club there is no defence. East is squeezed as Diamonds are led by North, the CJ being a threat. Note that South ultimately has to end up ruffing the final diamond winner in order to get back to hand to lead Hearts through West. A thing of beauty.
