Help
As a novice I like to practice playing four hands with robots. I'm never embarrassed by my plays. I do have a problem when north, my partner, is declarer, and the problem is, the game play is too fast to follow. I've gotten to the point of redealing or over bidding rather than sit through a hand I can't follow. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Charles

I agree and sympathise.
A few points:
1) If you sit back and let it do its thing, at least it will be over in a trice. The factor that causes the irritation is the same factor that minimises its duration.
2) If you sit back and let it do its thing, you will at least get a measure of how successful your auction was, based on the end result (note I stress how successful, not how reasonable - you could get spectacularly lucky or unlucky on the hand).
3) The full hand including the sequence of plays is stored on the server (and locally if you are using the "old" Windows client software and have set the option). So you can go back and review the hand afterward. Quite a pain, I agree, and does not diminish the demand for user control over speed of quitting tricks.

I disagree with OP. When pard-bot is declarer, the result frequently appears on the scorecard when the play video is still on Trick 3 or 4. Generally, I want to get on to the next hand and I'm entirely uninterested in watching the remaining 9 or 10 tricks click by. If I (or OP) want to analyze the play, it's easy enough to click one trick at a time on the side display of the previous hand. I'd prefer that there was no video at all when pard-bot declares -- the hand should just go directly to the "My Hands" section on the right-hand side of the screen.
