I know, on these fora, it is unpopular for an opening 3-bid to look like an opening 3-bid. But, I will lead off with that minority opinion. I advocate the rule of 2-3...preempts should make life difficult for 2 people at the table, not 3.

They don't need to fool anybody, just take up room.

this is a matter of partnership agreement.

Given, that we are red vs. green in 2nd, we would open this
with 2H.
Playing with standard agreements, this is 3H opening.

If this is still not possible, I would open 4H.

4 all day.

I will only get into real trouble when one opponent has Q10xx or more. Partner will not raise 3 with:
Kx
xx
J10xxx
AKxx

and on a good day I make 6!!
