Step through the play.

Ducking the diamond should be clear, but I like how the hand makes by two different lines of play, dependent on what west exits.

The hand is a freak, but ducking doubleton ace in dummy to give the opponents 2 losing options (ruff or long suit) is not really new. However many players are not familiar with it. Ducking doubletons where you only have the ace is one of the things you should routinely do, you are gonna do much better if you duck by default than otherwise.
