after a diamond lho wins ♦Q after some hessitation and plays a club showing 3, you ruff low the third round, and RHO is marked with ♣KQJ9.

I was expecting a trump back and then the hand just plays itself though I hadn't appreciated that when north has 3 diamonds, one more club ruff is needed.
Without the trump return, declarer has to adjust slightly in case north's shape is 3244 (or 4234) by taking 9 trumps and ♣A.

RHO's hesitation suggested he had short spades, the winning line was to play for ♠Q to be onside making the diamonds via double ruffing finese.
