South to lead.

If West has no recourse, what is the game?

Poker. We have a full house and our Q squeezes West out of their straight flush draw.

West thinks he needs to keep hearts intact so he first discards A on A and then he discards A on K.

It is called a progressive pseudo-squeeze.

It's swanway's club and all 13 of West's cards are PC for having put them down as dummy before the auction. The spade forces an ace, the K of that suit forces the other A, and scene.

I remember reading Pavlicek's site though and I guess this is the same hand.

Yes, I've edited the hand to include Q. I haven't seen it on Pavlicek's site.
